Sitra's aim is that Finland that succeeds as a pioneer in sustainable well-being. Their representative hosted a workshop wondering how do we enable students, schools and communities to become building blocks of a sustainable well-being society?

Otava Folk High School presentation and workshops
The second day started with Otava Folk School principals presentation of the organisation. After that, we introduced three aspects of Otava's functions via a workshop:
1) Online high school studies
No matter how old you are, it is never too late to learn and complete a degree. Finishing your comprehensive or upper secondary school studies can be done at your pace and from the comfort of your home. Some of our students live and work in foreign countries as well as on campus.
2) multicultural studies
Introducing Otava's function of
- Preparatory Education for General Upper Secondary Education,
- Comprehensive School Programme for Students with Immigrant Backgrounds
- Preparatory Comprehensive School Programme for Students with Immigrant Backgrounds
3) project Shake
The project aims to develop a new model for innovation and experiments that connects local entrepreneurs with education providers and cooperates with startup events and supporters.
